If you like Phoenix Wright, Pokemon, Zombies, Wii, and even Twilight, this blog is for you.
The author is a girl who has been trying to find something to do with her life that is fun. She takes games and books and gives her opinions on them in new and funny ways. She is not afraid of what she says.

Hi, I'm new here, so I hope it's OK to post this, but I have a question about Pokémon Platinum.

I've just caught Uxie, but I accidently defeated Azelf and it said it disapered "deep into the cavern". Is there anyway I can get a chance to battle it again?

Hi. I have a question about Zelda: Twilight Princess. I seem to have a problem with fishing. I've read a few strategies, like waiting till the colored rod goes down, or waiting till a fish swims towards the hook and then pull the remote back to make it latch on to it, but nothing seems to work. Is it just a matter of waiting? I really feel like I'm doing something wrong. It's kinda boring this way.

SORP Films just recently wrapped up our newest film, a parody of the Legend of Zelda (Mostly a parody of the first two 8 bit games) and I thought I would post it a few places where I figured it might be appreciated.

Note - This is a parody but it is NOT intended for younger viewers due to coarse language and violence against Octarocs. So yeah, not something to call the kids in to watch with you.

To save space I have linked directly to the youtube pages...this is a two part video-

The Legend of Zelda part I

The Legend of Zelda part II

Incidentally, if you like the movie please feel free to cross post it elsewhere. Cross posting helps us out a TON when it comes to getting the word out about our work!

Don Gero's Mask [12 Apr 2007|01:26pm]

Hi, I have a question. I'm playing Zelda: Majora's Mask, and I have a problem to get the Don Gero's mask. I've found a very good walkthrough, and in the walkthrough, it says that once you've obtained the rock sirloin, you should take it to the guard in Mountain Village to get the mask. I don't find a guard in mountain village. I did see a goron in Mountain Village when it was still winter, but I didn't talk to him. And now he's gone. Is that because I didn't talk to him then? Don't tell me I'll have to go back in time and defeat Goth yet again, and break all the wretched pots of the chandelier again to obtain the rock sirloin. I have it *now* and I'd like to use it now. So, what do I do?

Arachnaphobia: Conquered! [17 Mar 2007|08:40pm]

Metroid Fusion: awesome, awesome game, but that Spider boss is evil. I've been stuck there for the past week, but finally got past it this evening (getting out of the 'arena' took no little effort, either).

On the basis of how much I'm enjoying - hmm, maybe 'enjoying' wasn't quite the word for this last week's rather frustrating series of one-sided encounters with the spider - Metroid Fusion, I've bought Zero Mission, and that should arrive next week. With the GBA quite obviously being killed off, I figure that it's going to get harder and harder to track down games from this point on. Thus, as and when the ones I want appear at the right price, I'm getting them.

Club [05 Mar 2007|07:41pm]

I want to start a Classic Gaming Club at my school, I can get an approval from the media teacher cause he's a pretty cool guy and he runs the TV room.

I got together a bunch of kids and I dumped my own money into aquiring some NES and SNES systems with a LOT of games, I actually saved a lot of money compared to outrageous ebay bidders.

Anyhooo.

I'm just trying to put together a good "Mission Statement" to show its "enrichment and educational values" and why it would be an entity to the school.

Any tips? I have a few BS ideas as well :]

Nostalgia in Micro Form [05 Mar 2007|02:12pm]

Hee - I've just got Konami's Arcade Advanced for my GB Micro, and have been reliving my mis-spent youth playing Scramble!

Of the six games on the cart, Scramble's the one I'm most familiar with, and certainly everything from the graphics to the music seems spot-on.

Certainly inspires a few trips down Memory Lane, at any rate!

GameBoy Micro bargain (UK) [28 Feb 2007|01:53pm]

[ mood | working ]

Hey all, new to the community, but just thought I'd mention that I managed to pick up a Silver GameBoy Micro from Comet at the weekend for £29.99! They're getting hard to find, though, so I suspect the general idea is that we're all supposed to buy DS Lites now.

For a handheld gaming platform, I think the Micro is unparalleled - the screen is awesome and the whole package just exudes that quality feeling (more so, I think, than my son's DS, my SP or even my original GameBoy {14 years young, now}).

I've been a GameBoy fan since the original (I still have mine from '93): I just wish that there was a proper Tetris in GBA format!

If you're interested, I posted a list of my current GBA library on my journal here.

if you don't have a wii preordered, what do you think the chances of getting one on the launch date will be? they only accepted fifteen preorders at each store (which i'm sure a lot of you know) and i was number seventeen in line. i can't believe how bad my luck was that day.
